How We Work
Built to Approved Specifications
Orders are fabricated using the measurements, drawings, templates, photographs, equipment information, or approved specifications provided for the project. Important dimensions and construction details are reviewed before fabrication begins.
Clearly Identified Orders
Fabricated components are labeled or identified as appropriate to help customers match each piece to the correct project, system, lot, equipment connection, or installation location.
Direct Communication
Customers work directly with the shop when discussing measurements, project requirements, pricing, scheduling, pickup, and available delivery arrangements.
Field-Focused Fabrication
Our HVAC field experience helps us understand how transitions, plenums, base cans, filter boxes, curb adapters, and other fittings need to connect and function during installation.

Current Fabrication Materials
Galvanized Steel
Galvanized steel is our primary material for residential and light-commercial HVAC ductwork, plenums, transitions, fittings, filter boxes, equipment connections, caps, covers, and other fabricated components.
Stainless Steel
Stainless-steel fabrication is available for qualifying projects requiring improved resistance to moisture, corrosion, cleaning chemicals, or other demanding conditions. Material availability, gauge, construction requirements, and shop capability must be confirmed before an order is accepted.
Pricing
Project Pricing and Business Accounts
Standard projects are reviewed and priced according to the materials, gauge, dimensions, quantity, fabrication time, and special construction requirements.
Larger contractors, builders, and recurring commercial customers may qualify for account pricing based on order volume, project requirements, payment terms, and anticipated ongoing business.
Business-account pricing is not automatic. Customers requesting account terms or volume pricing must complete the required account-setup paperwork and receive approval before account pricing or payment terms are established.
Standards
Fabrication Standards and Code Requirements
HG Sheetmetal fabricates components to the approved project specifications and applicable sheet-metal and HVAC code requirements related to the accepted fabrication scope.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements, equipment information, plans, specifications, required material gauge, and special construction requirements.
HG Sheetmetal does not provide engineering, system design, airflow calculations, permit approval, or code interpretation unless those services are specifically included in a written agreement.
If project requirements are unclear, additional information may be required before fabrication can begin.
